I Started playing this amazing game when I was 6 years old. I was introduced to it by my Auntie. Who shares the same passion and love for the game as I do. I LOVE having the opportunity to play alongside my sister and cousin. Biggest critics and best supporters.
My Dad left me with a lot of inspiration. He was and is my inspiration every time I step on the ice. The most important thing I learnt from a coach(him) was, "no one is asking you to be perfect they just want perfect effort." This is also the best advice I have ever received.
To any young girl contemplating playing Ringette; "DO IT" this amazing sport teaches you so many valuable life skills. It encourages you to stay very active, make lifelong friends and pushes you to attain your goals.
My favourite Ringette moment is winning Nationals in 2011 with my Dad as a coach. I will never forget his face when that buzzer rang.
